Rotary International is a worldwide organisation that brings together professional, business and community leaders to provide humanitarian services and help to build goodwill and peace throughout the world.
Who Are We?
The Cape of Good Hope club was formed in 1958 and is part of Rotary District 9350 which includes over 80 volunteer service clubs operating in the Western and Northern Cape of South Africa as well as Angola and Namibia.
Rotary clubs across this large district take purposeful action to empower and positively impact local, regional and broader communities.
Our club, CoGH, draws members from across the area to share a common goal to uplift the lives of others.
Rotarians are known as ‘people of action’ and each year we organise numerous impactful projects and events for good causes.
We welcome you to join us on a Tuesday evening from 6.30-8.30 pm to find out how you can get involved in community projects across Cape Town’s spectacular southern region.

Message From Club President
“The Rotary Club of Good Hope is deeply rooted within the Deep South. The Club, which is over 60 years old has been working with the local community leaders to determine needs within the communities.
By hosting multiple fund raising events, the Club raises funds to ensure that sustainable projects can be established for the benefit of the community members.
From supporting ECD’s and Social Worker services in Ocean View and Masiphumelele to assisting volunteer service organisations such as Emergency Volunteer Services.
The members of the Club are very committed to the Rotary theme of ‘ Service above self’ and also serve on numerous Non Profit Organisation Boards to bring support to those in need.
We therefore encourage individuals with similar passions and interests to visit the Club to learn how you can also be part of this global organisation.”
